In order to better serve its patrons, Penn Transit has installed GPS tracking in all Penn buses and shuttles. This system allows riders to obtain real-time information about locations and expected arrival times of Penn Transit vehicles operating on fixed-route schedules. When using PennRides en Route, you also will gain access to traffic alerts, such as emergency route or schedule changes. GPS information is available from the 'en Route' tab along the bottom of the screen in the PennRides on Request mobile app (available on the App Store and Google Play). It also can be accessed via www.upenn.edu/pennrides.
