Using a SEPTA Key Card to place your monthly commuter order for a transit pass can be accomplished in three simple steps.
1. Buy a SEPTA Key Card ($4.95).
- Key Cards are available at Station Fare Kiosks, Sales Offices, and Outlying Regional Rail Ticket Offices. Find one of these locations at www.septakey.org/info/buy-load-locator.
- A SEPTA Key Card Kiosk is conveniently located at the Penn Bookstore, 3601 Walnut Street, ground floor.
2. Register your new Key Card.
- Create an account and register your Key Card by visiting www.septakey.org.
- Make sure to take note of your Card Reference ID.
- This number is NOT on your front-face of your Key Card -- it can be found by going to "My Account" page, selecting Card Options, then Card Reference ID.
- NOTE - the Card Reference ID is alphanumeric and case sensitive.
3. Log in to your Health Equity/WageWorks account to link your Key Card using your Card Reference ID number
- If applicable, cancel your current magnetic stripe pass order and change your pass election to SEPTA ComPass Key Card
