 Traveling from on-campus

Step 1.

Go to the nearest Transit Stop on Campus (shuttles & buses) or pick-up point (buses only)

Note: Shuttles may NOT be used to travel from one campus stop to another campus transit stop.

Step 2.

Wait Inside for Vehicle's Arrival

Wait inside the building if possible.  Have your ID ready to present to the driver.

Traveling from off-campus

TRAVELING FROM OFF-CAMPUS

Via Penn Shuttle Services

  1. Please call 215-898-RIDE (7433) to arrange for a shuttle to pick you up.
  2. Wait until the shuttle arrives before leaving your indoor waiting location.
  3. Need to go to another shuttle service area?

You must transfer at a campus transit stop to the shuttle serving your destination. For example, if you are in the West Shuttle area, but your final destination is 24th and Chestnut in the East Shuttle area, please call for the WEST Shuttle to you to any campus transit stop.  After you arrive at the stop, please wait for the East Shuttle to pick you up and take you to your final destination.

Via Penn Bus West

  1. Board at certain intersections with a stop sign or traffic signal along its route in West Philadelphia. Check out our map to see where Penn Bus West runs.

Via Penn Bus East

  1. Board at certain intersections with a stop sign or traffic signal along its route in Center City. Check out our map to see where Penn Bus East runs.

ON-CALL SHUTTLE

  1. To access the On-Call Shuttle, you must call 215-898-RIDE (7433). The on-call shuttle does not make regular scheduled pick ups on campus. Ride requests can be made for pick up from any campus transit stop or from any location in the off-campus service area

GROUP SHUTTLE SERVICES

  1. Penn Shuttle vehicles can hold up to 14 passengers.
  2. For groups larger than 14 passengers, please alert the dispatcher to the number in your party.
  3. Shuttles will be dispatched to accommodate the group as soon as possible.
