Information on Parking Permits 2023-2024 Parking Rates

Penn Parking Rates Effective July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024

Full-time University and UPHS faculty and staff members may arrange to pay the total applicable fee in installments via payroll deduction. Once established, equal payroll deductions are taken once a month for monthly paid and four times per month for weekly paid employees. Payroll deductions are ongoing until the Parking Office receives notice from the permit holder to cancel the payroll deduction and the garage access card, AVI transponder and hangtag is returned to the Parking Office. Payroll deduction amounts will be adjusted automatically each July to reflect any changes in permit fees.

* Rates are based on the permit holder's pay cycle.

University and UPHS paid employees: Permit holders will receive significant tax savings by having parking fees deducted (up to $315 per month) on a pre-tax basis. Permit holders do not pay federal, FICA or Medicare taxes on the deductible amount.

University Employees: University faculty and staff members may arrange to pay the total applicable fee in installments through payroll deduction. Once established, equal payroll deductions are taken once a month for monthly paid employees and four times per month for weekly paid employees. Payroll deduction amounts will be adjusted automatically each July to reflect any changes in permit fees.

UPHS Paid Employees: You may arrange to pay the total applicable fee in installments through payroll deduction. Once established, deductions for UPHS paid employee permit holders will be taken in twenty-four (24) bi-weekly installments from the first two pay periods of each month, beginning in July and ending in June.

NOTE: University and UPHS paid employees who wish to pay their parking fees in full are required to visit the Parking Office to pay the full year via credit card. No other forms of payment will be accepted.
