Description

Pharos Uniprint® was the first cost-recovery software solution developed for higher education — and it’s still the market leader. Uniprint is a flexible, scalable, and device-independent system for tracking, monitoring, controlling, and charging for network printing. Eligibility and Terms

Licensed to:	The software may be licensed to departments of the University of Pennsylvania, HUP. Currently, there are 11 departments that participate. Software must be installed on a University-owned server; it is available as a server version only.
License Year:	August 1 - July 31
Platforms:	The Windows and UNIX operating systems are supported in this license.
Distribution:	Uniprint is downloaded from Pharos Systems.
Usage:	Users pay an initial license fee per server, plus a software maintenance fee that must be renewed each July. The annual maintenance fee is based on the number of printers the department used with Uniprint. At the end of the fiscal year, OSL will request a printer count from the department and issue a maintenance renewal notice. A department deciding to stop using Uniprint must delete the software and return the signed license confirmation form to the Office of Software Licensing indicating this has been done. These items are controlled by the U.S government and authorized for export only to the country of ultimate destination for use by the ultimate consignee or end-user(s) herein identified. They may not be resold, transferred, or otherwise disposed of, to any other country or to any person other than the authorized ultimate consignee or end-user(s), either in their original form or after being incorporated into other items, without first obtaining approval from the U.S. government or as otherwise authorized by U.S. law and regulations.
