PCC is continuously building a green team, accomplished through our business practices and teaching practices. The PCC curriculum is environmentally conscious and includes such opportunities as an introduction to recycling, conservation of energy, composting and a working Children’s Garden.

Careful purchasing of environmentally friendly products are chosen over other products and examination of all contracts includes consideration of going green.

Penn Eco-Reps

The Penn Eco-Reps Program is an environmental leadership program that focuses on raising awareness of environmental issues and impacting the behavior of individuals across the Penn campus by developing educational events, activities, and campaigns aimed at supporting the University’s environmental goals and Climate Action Plan. Initiatives include energy conservation, waste and recycling practices, water conservation strategies, alternative transportation, consumer choices and more.
