Access to Parking Facilities

When there are special events, patrons will be notified with instructions, if necessary.

Permit holders should not experience any interruptions during holiday or semester breaks.  Visitors may find, however, that some garages or lots are closed to the public during these times.

To replace a damaged parking hangtag, you must bring your old one to the Transportation and Parking Office at 3401 Walnut Street, Suite 447A during business hours (Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and a replacement will be issued.  Remember: Immediately place your new hangtag in your vehicle to avoid receiving a $35 ticket.

Whether you have lost your hangtag, garage access card or AVI transponder, please visit the Transportation and Parking Office for a replacement, bringing your institutional ID card with you. There will be a replacement fee for each. Should you find your misplaced item within a two-week period, visit the office so you may receive a refund.

Please enter the garage and pull a ticket from the machine. Then, please visit the Transportation and Parking Office before you return to the garage to obtain a voucher, ensuring that you have the ticket you obtained at the parking garage with you.  The voucher you receive will facilitate your exit from the garage without payment.

Overnight parking is not allowed for daily permit parking; however, if there is an emergency or special circumstance you would like to address, please contact the Office of Parking & Commuter Services at 215.898.8667 for more information about your options.
