Residential Dining

Penn has five residential cafés throughout campus. Guests who have dining plans, which are comprised of various amounts of visits (also known as “meals” or “swipes”) and Dining Dollars, will have one visit deducted from their balances each time they enter a residential café. The cafes operate using the Pick 5 program, which allows you to get one entree, three sides, and a beverage. To gain entry, the guest’s PennCard is tapped at the entrance of each residential dining café, where the visit is deducted electronically.

At Penn Dining, we also offer "Meal Exchange" which allows students to purchase a bundle of items (example: main + 4 sides) for the cost of one meal swipe. Meal Exchange is available at Gourmet Grocer, Sunday through Thursday from 8:00pm to 10:00pm.
