Permit Parking Eligibility and Application

Penn's full-time, benefits-eligible faculty and staff, along with Postdoctoral Researchers and Fellows can apply online for a parking permit by visiting the Parking Permits page. Once you have completed your parking order online, you must come into the Parking Office to sign a payroll deduction authorization form and to pick up your parking permit hangtag, which must be displayed in your vehicle when you are parking at your designated lot or garage. Also, you may visit the Penn Parking & Commuter Services Office to apply. Students may complete the online parking permit order process at Campus Express.

You will need your valid PennCard, your vehicle information including its year, make/model and license plate number, and your payroll status (Penn Weekly, Penn Monthly or Bi-Weekly/HUP).

Faculty, staff, and students are eligible for permit parking on Penn's campus.

If you are a full-time faculty or staff member at the University, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) or Wistar, you are eligible for pre-tax payroll deductions.  These payroll deductions are automatic upon completing your parking application.

Permit patrons may review the Faculty and Staff Parking Rates to assess what option may best meet your parking needs.
