UPenn Software Licensing

Software available through existing site or volume licensing agreements, or at discounted prices through preferred vendors, is offered via several outlets across the University.

The Office of Software Licensing maintains site or volume licensing agreements with software publishers shown in the left navigation panel of this page. These licenses are available for order and fulfillment through the new Penn Software Licensing Portal. Also included on the left are four volume licenses (FileMaker, Ghost, Identity Finder and Uniprint) that may be purchased directly from SHI, a preferred software vendor, through the BEN Marketplace via links available on the new portal.

Click on each product on the left for more information about the software, details of its use, the term of the license, and who is eligible to purchase. Note that most products are licensed to run through July 31, 2024 and will need to be renewed for next fiscal year at that time.

Click on How To Order in the menu above to purchase OSL software through the new Penn Software Licensing Portal.
