Photography can be a critical element of your project. If you need photographs, we encourage you to peruse our selection of photographs of Penn’s campus - offered to members of the Penn Community at no charge for University projects. You may also decide to use an outside photographer. We have a list of photographers that are used widely across campus. Another option is to purchase images and photography online. Details on all these options are provided below.
Penn’s free photo library
Members of the Penn Community are welcome to select from over 100 professionally produced photographs of Penn’s campus and iconic events such as the Quaker cheering on crowds at Franklin Field or Commencement. These photographs can be downloaded as high resolution (300+ dpi ) for use in printed materials or in a low resolution format (72 dpi) for website and other digital projects. You will need a PennKey to access the photos and must agree to the Terms and Conditions.
In addition, University Communications has a flickr stream site where you can download Penn images. Click here to access the site.
