Moving from one apartment to another can be challenging to accomplish on your own. If you have no means of transporting your furniture and belongings from your current apartment to a new apartment, it might be a sensible idea to hire a moving company.
Before using any moving or storage company:
  • Conduct research and call several companies, giving detailed information about what services you are looking for.
  • Ask for written estimates to compare and costs and services between companies.
  • Make sure that you understand the company‚Äôs policies and practices.

The Department of Residential Services has an agreement with to provide storage services to both on- and off-campus students. Any contractual arrangement with is strictly between the Penn student and that company.
How it works

  1. School Storage delivers boxes to you.
  2. You pack the boxes.
  3. School Storage picks up the boxes (and anything else you want to store) and store it at their permanent facility.
  4. School Storage deliver it back to you when you return.
