Moving

Moving from one apartment to another can be challenging to accomplish on your own. If you have no means of transporting your furniture and belongings from your current apartment to a new apartment, it might be a sensible idea to hire a moving company. While there are a number of local moving companies listed below, they are in no way endorsed by the University of Pennsylvania or Off-Campus Services.

Before using any moving or storage company:
  • Conduct research and call several companies, giving detailed information about what services you are looking for.
  • Ask for written estimates to compare and costs and services between companies.
  • Make sure that you understand the company‚Äôs policies and practices.

Storage

The Department of Residential Services has an agreement with SchoolStorage.com to provide storage services to both on- and off-campus students. Any contractual arrangement with Schoolstorage.com is strictly between the Penn student and that company.

Relocation Services (Penn Faculty and Staff)

If you are a new faculty or staff member relocating to Philadelphia to work at Penn, you should be coordinating relocation services with your department, division or office.
