Infant Care (3 months to approximately 18 months)

The months of infancy are precious to parents and to the staff at Penn Children’s Center. The infant program provides a warm, nurturing environment for your baby. Light, color and music fill our infant rooms creating a soothing and safe environment for your special little one. Special care is taken to understand your baby's needs and schedule. The staff in our infant rooms monitor and respond to the individual and changing needs of each child. We'll provide the infant formula, cereals and selected snacks. You'll just bring a supply of diapers, wipes and food for your baby as you would like them introduced.

Toddlers (18 months to 36 months)

Toddlerhood is a time of joy, wonder and developing independence. The Penn Children's Center toddler curriculum stimulates both the motor and cognitive skills that develop between 18 and 36 months of age. Monthly themes and daily activities are tailored to meet the developing needs and interest of this age group. Self-help skills and early learning activities are key ingredients of each toddler's day.

Pre-Schoolers (3 years to 5 years)

The pre-school years are a time of discovery and imagination. The pre-school curriculum focuses on socialization, reading and math readiness, and creative development. Art projects, dress-up days and musical instruments are all part of the fun. The classroom computers are especially popular with the children. "Graduates" of the Penn Children's Center are well-prepared for their kindergarten experience.
